Celebrating 100 Posts: My Journey, Challenges, and Growth
Hello everyone! How have you
been?
This post is the 100th post! Writing
100 blog posts has been an incredible experience. It is wonderful learning a
new language and sharing tips that are working for me with people who are in the
same situation.
When I first started this blog, I
had many aspirations, and many challenges to being faced along the way. Some
challenges I have overcome, others I am still trying to overcome. Anyhoo…
Today, I would like talk about my journey up to this point. I would like to talk about my challenges, what what I've learned, and how much I've grown during this time. Additionally, show you my favorite posts, posts more read, and my favorite materials.
Challenges Faced
One of the initial challenges in learning
English alone was to find good free materials, to develop a study schedule, and
to have consistent and regular writing on my blog. Balancing my English study,
applications with blogging demanded careful time management and prioritization.
Additionally, understanding SEO principles and creating engaging content posed
continuous challenges that pushed me to refine my writing skills, creativity,
choices, and thinking beyond.
I think another challenge was
keeping the routine even when I was demotivated. Sometimes I felt that I was on the
English plateau (graph 1), in other words, it was as if my learning in English
had stopped improving. My learning progress was stagnated or slows down
significantly.
Another challenge is receiving bad news about my applications, specially when I almost made it but in the end I died on the beach. It made me question my potential, and my capacity to learn English.
What I Learned
Through
these challenges, I learned the importance of perseverance and adaptability.
Each challenge taught me something new.
Firstly, when learning English alone you need a plan. It's crucial to manage your attention
and time. Secondly, I understood that learning a new language is difficult, and plateau moments will happen. You need persistence, the important thing is not to give up and to continue. You will perceive your improving over time.
Thirdly, regarding applications, it’s important to visualize what I need to improve
for the next application and to take the‘almost selected’ as a sign that I have
potential, and I need to keep trying.
Finally,
I learned that a blog can give me invaluable insights and skills. This blog
taught me that responsibility and commitment are key to personal growth and that with them, you can achieve 100 post (and writing in English) :p.
Furthermore, my creativity come to the surface with this blog, and to help
people in the same situation as mine is meaningful.
Growth Over Time
As
I progressed, I noticed significant growth in my ability to communicate
clearly. Engaging with readers helps me teach and research the best ways to explain subjects, researching the best way to
explain subjects. I grew as person when I decided to connect with people around the
world. I lost the fear of having new experiences. With new experiences, I
gained confidence and expanded my understanding of diverse perspectives.

Facing language learning plateaus showed me the value of persistence and continuous effort.
Applications highlighted areas for improvement and reinforced my resilience.
